2nd block's reenactment of Revolutionary War battle tactics: Some students had marshmallow guns for muskets, others had pool noodles for a bayonette charge, and others had foam swords to be the cavalry. Teams were briefed on actual battle tactics then turned loose. Later we watched those battles recreated on the movie The Patriot.
